Exhibiting for the first time at Printwear & Promotion LIVE! 2017 are three jacket specialists, all offering something different for visitors. But not only that the show welcomes plenty of other new, unique and interesting exhibitors. P&P editor Melanie Attlesey speaks to the new exhibitors to find out why they have chosen 2017 as their first show.

Next year the show will be the biggest to date, with plenty of new exhibitors to tantalise the thousands of visitors that are expected to visit. Taking place in Hall 20 at the NEC in Birmingham the show will once again feature over 150 different exhibitors, plus the daily fashion shows displaying the latest in printwear styles, informative seminar sessions and the screen print workshop.

Jacket suppliers

Rainstar launched in 2014 creating outdoor clothing for both men and women, focusing mainly on bespoke garments for its clients. Now the company is set to launch its first stock jacket range in the UK for the printwear market.

Tracy Richards, marketing and operations at Rainstar, says: “The show is the perfect backdrop to launch Rainstar’s first stock range. It is so important to be able to see the quality of the garments to ensure printers, embroiderers and promotional companies will consider putting the brand forward to their own customers.

“We are proud of our quality and styling, so really look forward to sharing this with the industry.”

Tracy adds that the show will provide the Rainstar team the chance to open new accounts and for visitors to experience the quality of the garments and to gain an insight into the pricing.

She adds: “Also, we are a friendly team, so it will be lovely to meet everyone.”

The Outdoors Company describes itself as the UK’s premier trade supplier of premium outdoor brands. Brands that the company supplies include Jack Wolfskin, Helly Hansen and Mountain Hardwear.

Paul Morley-Smith, operations director, explains that if a visitor’s business is sourcing and providing corporate clothing for their clients then they will 100% gain from meeting the team.

He adds: “The Outdoors Company is really excited about the opportunity that Printwear & Promotion LIVE! 2017 offers. We feel that many visitors will currently not be able to access outdoor clothing brands like Berghaus and The North Face on a trade basis, but we hope to change that by attending the show. Visitors will have the chance to offer premium options alongside the more standard fleece and jackets.”

In previous years, visitors will be used to seeing Stormtech’s highly technical outdoor apparel on its distributors’ stands at the show. This year the brand has decided to go it alone and exhibit on its own stand.

Andrew Kouroushi, European sales director, says: “We have decided to return to the show after many years, so that we could reach a greater number of customers. We will be exhibiting our complete range of European stocked products that are available from our offering. Customers will also be able to touch, feel and try our products on, and obtain greater knowledge of the Stormtech range.”

Other jacket suppliers exhibiting at the show include Regatta Professional, Result and Trespass.

And of course there are plenty of other exhibitors choosing to use 2017 as a launch pad in the UK including Kariban, Longforte Sublimation Blanks, Tie & Scarf Company, Vapor Apparel, Uniform World, Bags HQ and Pim Tekstil.

Printwear & Promotion LIVE! 2017 will take place in Hall 20 at the NEC in Birmingham from Sunday, February 26 to Tuesday, February 28.
