Schoolwear sector well represented at P&P LIVE!

Feb 2, 2016

For schoolwear retailers and suppliers specialising in personalised and decorated clothing, headwear and bags it’s a must-attend event.

Nearly 36% of visitors to the 2015 event highlighted childrenswear and schoolwear as areas of product interest, with schoolwear retailers accounting for 18% of the total visitor number.

Offering a new range of school wear, AWDis Academy is exhibiting for the first time at Printwear & Promotion LIVE! from raglan sleeve sweatshirts, to children’s cardigans and V-neck sweatshirts in a wide selection of sizes and classic school colours, it’s worth a visit to stand E1 to see the full range.

Rowlinson Knitwear specialises in both plain and special garments ideal for schoolwear. The company focuses on just three product types: knitwear, polo shirts and a range of sweatshirts.

Rowlinson is pleased to announce the launch of its new product Performa Exec in time for the show, a durable 50/50 blend of cotton which can be easily personalised with stripes and embroidery. It will be available plain from stock with 24 hour delivery in black and navy and the company plans to introduce more colours later. For special bespoke garments minimum orders will be small at 12 (3 per size) and with quick deliveries.  Visit stand number P42 for more information.

Blue Max Banner is a leading independent supplier of schoolwear in the UK. Visit stands D72 and E70 for a top to toe collection of garments available in a choice of colours and sizes and each constructed from fabrics which have been carefully selected to offer an ideal base for decoration and embellishment.

Russell has made its name as one of the most creative forces within the promotional clothing industry, bringing fashion forward styles to the market. 2016 sees the launch of six new styles in its HD Collection of crew neck jumpers, with sizes from juniors to teens. Russell will also be exhibiting its entire range of shirts, knitwear, polos, T shirts, sweats, fleece and jackets at the show. Visit stand number C50 for more information.

The Eskimo EPOS back office software and integrated e-commerce solution is enjoying success with retailers across the UK and schoolwear is no exception.

Many Eskimo clients embroider or badge plain garments for their customers. The retailers need to ensure they are able to manage both plain and embroidered or badged stock; knowing accurate stock levels at any given moment is paramount for them to be able to successfully meet demand. Eskimo is said to be their chosen solution. At the show the company will be launching its newly improved, embroidery section within the Eskimo software. Many of the existing features will be automated and new features will be added for total control of the complete embroidery process. Visit stand number G10 for more on this.

Schoolwear suppliers and retailers will also benefit from visiting Arem Italia, Glenway Products, Result and SPIRO, 2786, 7 Active, B&C Collection, Craghoppers, Fusible Systems, Gazelle Sports, LEGEA, Novoco Activewear, Roly and Valento.
