Firmly established as the industry’s annual meeting place and launch pad for new equipment, accessories and clothing lines, Printwear & Promotion LIVE! is the dedicated national event for the UK garment decoration industry.

Show update

With the current uncertainties and potential logistical issues caused by the Omicron variant of COVID-19, in respect to being able to host the show as planned in February, we have been in discussion with the NEC about the prospect of being able to postpone the show. Consequently, we have delayed the show by a few months, with our revised dates being Sunday, April 24 to Tuesday, April 26.

Having spoken to many of our exhibitors since the start of the year, the desire of all is for the event to go ahead at a time, when there will be less uncertainty and giving all in attendance, visitors and exhibitors, the opportunity to participate, converse, and benefit from the show in as safe an environment, and with the biggest turnout, as possible!

We appreciate that the postponement may disappoint some of our visitors, who had already made plans to attend in February. However, we felt that for the successful and safer running of the show, it is the more sensible and prudent decision to take up the option of moving to April. All being well, at that time, the Government’s Plan B will no longer be in force, and the wearing of face masks will not be required for those in attendance!

There is a real desire among both visitors and exhibitors to be back at the show and we hope that you will be among them. The number of our pre-registered visitors is at a record high and commitment from our exhibitors is excellent with the vast majority of the major equipment suppliers, clothing distributors and brands exhibiting and around 100 stands on the floorplan.

Expected visitor numbers

When considering the results of a recent survey of our 2020 visitors, in which over 75% advised they are definitely going to or very likely to visit, together with the fact that the show regularly attracts over 2,000 first time visitors, we are expecting visitor numbers to be similar to those of recent years, which have been in excess of 5,500!

Health & Safety measures

The health and safety of all who visit and exhibit remains a top priority. Consequently, the NEC is currently implementing COVID status checks at agreed entry points. At present, visitors will need to show proof of their COVID-19 status before being allowed entry. More details on this and accepted methods of proof can be found here.
