COVID-19 Safety Measures

Visitors to Printwear & Promotion LIVE! can expect to see a number of COVID-19 safety measures in place when they attend in April.

The NEC is committed to providing safe and secure environments for all persons on site. In order to achieve this, the venue fully complies with government guidance on managing the risk of COVID-19 and has a number of measures in place, covered within its Venue Protect Framework.

The health and safety of visitors is our top priority. Consequently, the NEC is implementing COVID status checks at agreed entry points to keep visitors and staff safe. In line with the latest Government guidance, visitors will be required to show proof of their COVID-19 status. Accepted methods of showing proof are as follows:

  • NHS COVID-19 Pass via the NHS App or a paper copy. COVID-19 vaccination cards are no longer accepted as evidence of vaccination.
  • Visitors who prefer not to use the NHS App or don’t have a smartphone can obtain a NHS COVID-Pass letter (proving vaccination status only) by calling 119 or visiting the NHS website.
  • Negative lateral flow or PCR test results text or email, received within 48 hours prior to attending. The NEC will not be supplying lateral flow tests on site.
  • Proof of immunity from COVID-19 is no longer an accepted form of evidence.
  • Medical exemptions must now be shown by a valid phone or paper method of ID and will not just be accepted verbally.
  • This applies to visitors over the age of 18 only.

Please note: The NEC is now legally required to turn people away if they do not arrive with the relevant form of COVID-19 vaccination status and/or negative test result evidence.

In line with the latest Government guidance, it is also now a requirement to wear a face covering throughout the NEC. Children under 11 are exempt from having to wear face coverings in any setting.
